Holy Trinity Hurdsfield (HTH), (The Employer) requires the design and construction of a new building to replace and enhance the facilities currently provided by the church office and classroom portacabins. HTH also requires external works improvements involving repair of footpath and roadways, increasing car parking, introducing cycle storage and lighting and signage improvements.
Neo Projects are undertaking the role of Quantity Surveyor on behalf of HTH for this development.
The masterplan for the scheme allows for the removal of the existing poor quality church outbuildings and replacement with a new, improved facility which can accommodate safe and sustainable accommodation for community meetings and office activities. The purpose of the external works improvements is to provide safe, welcoming access to all the community to ensure and enable the ongoing and flourishing growing ministry at HTH.
Neo were engaged to provide a detailed cost planning service which would enable HTH to approach the congregation for funding and contributions to front fund the extent of the works. It was absolutely critical that the cost planning of all the works was detailed and accurate as this funding was only available through members of the congregation and their individual generosity. There was no margin for error as the funds had to be collected before any tendering works were commenced.
Neo have been highly commended by HTH for their involvement in the project to date.
